Coachella Artist #5 - Pretty Lights

While I'm not the biggest fan of my last Coachella pick, I have a big man crush on the next artist and his uncanny ability to produce amazing tracks. Pretty Lights (Derek Vincent Smith on a monome) has been around for a while, but if you've been living under a rock and never heard of them, he offers his amazing music fo free! Pretty Lights makes me wanna dance with my hands (cause I'm quite white and can't dance normally). This first song, I Can See It In Your Face, is the first leak from one of his 3 upcoming EP's, Making Up a Changing Mind. The rest are "old" but still amazing. If I were only going to see one artist at Coachella, Pretty Lights would be it, hands down (or hands up if you dance like me).

This is the first time I've heard of this guy, he was the owner/DJ of a nightclub in London called "Trash" until a few years ago when he started makin his own music. He's debatably the genius who created the mashup; this is one of his from almost 8 years ago, under the alias Kurtis Rush:
